Inspired by the royal châteaux of the Loire Valley, the Château de Bourneau's Renaissance splendour of turrets, surrounded by its medieval moat and set in beautiful rural Vendée, is the perfect location for an elegant and stylish romantic celebration.

Whether you are dreaming of a perfect fairytale château wedding, a rustic countryside party, or an intimate and select romantic elopement, we would be delighted to host your dream day. We can host both your wedding ceremony and your reception at the château in a variety of locations to suit your unique style.

Accommodation

Stay On Site

Château de Bourneau can accommodate up to 50 guests for your special event. The honeymoon suite is located in the château itself, while the remaining rooms are in the holiday cottages, each with their own private garden and relaxing swimming pool.

If you have more guests, there are many gîtes and bed & breakfasts nearby that will be able to accommodate them.
